I've been trying to come up with a subject for a series for a while now, and several have come to mind -- windows, doors, fences -- but ultimately I decided to try mailboxes. I feel that there is something very personal, something quietly nostalgic and a little sad, about mailboxes and the way they connect people. Or, at least, used to connect people. So here are the beginnings of two series, one in color and one in greyscale. More photos will be added as I continue to travel and find more interesting shots.
